a gnarled twisty capture, with fine shadows esp along the railing, and a feeling of a path to a long abandoned mansion in the woods. You got the twist and turn of the wood and its shadows beautifully. Very rustic, and looking well trod and abandoned. Fine composition too---ie, the staired-path opening up to us, as it goes down. Peaceful and mysterious too...

What a lovely and very warm-feeling capture (warm-feeling in that I've been in many California park situations exactly like this, and I know how they feel!) I have a particular fondness for rustic pathways and handrails like this. Beautiful light control and clarity, Harry!
