ooh yes, a big flat manhole cover, with flat light on it, while the grass picks up the shadows. There are shadows on the cover, but the overall feel is of a cover bleached by the sun. And what an unusual cover: None of the patterns one usually sees carved into these covers---rather, only little squares, almost as if they were braille. And, in plain caps, "SEWER," with a painted "S" on top. Also, there are a few violet-hued petals around the periphery, which are perfect accents. A real find; and a fine dead-on capture of one of the sparest manhole covers I remember in your gallery. A fine shot, I really like this.

Very plainly stated what the purpose for this cover is! Superb shot, Harry!
