Description
There are slot canyons all over the world. What makes Antelope Canyon so special is in how it was formed. The running water worked its way through the rock from the ground up. This left much of the canyon covered giving it the appearance of a cave. Weathering has poked holes in this covering over time allowing the sunlight to stream in. During the rainy season the water still floods the canyon making it ever changing.
