I'm a big advocate of zooming everything (it's what the artist intended), so I'd have zoomed anyway...but you're right to ask for it, because it is fuller this way. (The display/non-zoomed version, on RR, can be no wider than 700 pixels---any width longer than that is automatically reduced to 700 pixels. So if you post something that's 1200 pixels wide, your viewers will only see it at 700. This was originally mandated to leave space for ads on the page---how RR supports itself. Now that people have bigger monitors, I wish they'd change that standard. Also, something many members may not know, the display/non-zoomed version is mostly---if not always---reduced to 72 dpi: So if your original is higher (180, 300, etc), details and full color won't show as well, because it's lower resolution. That's why, when people zoom, they suddenly think: "Wow, the red here is much redder!" I wish that RR displayed full size by default, since we have a 512 KB limit no matter what: Ie, they can't complain that fuller sizes will take up too much resource on the page. In any case, I always zoom; and yes, this photo is fuller and richer when zoomed.) A very peaceful piece, with that tree on the right arching over and meeting the boaters (and pulling the picture into 'one'). It casts a sweet shadow/reflection, too. Very deep blues in that water. It looks like a shallow lake, and it's very restful and beautiful, esp with the leafy pre spring growth everywhere---it almost acts like a soft, fuzzy scarf to the pic. Very sweet mood and capture, it feels very Midwestern, something that one has to be in the Midwest awhile, to feel...A sweet landscape from you.
