.... story book shot of the Windy City on a clear day ! Their Chamber of Commerce public relations folks would probably enjoy a copy of this.

Mark, this is a truly amazing photo that perfectly captures the statuesque beauty of the Chicago Skyline. You most definitely should be over the Chicago chamber of commerce considering the pride and love you have for your fair city. I realize this isn't the entire Chicago skyline but one look at the view makes it abundantly clear why you chose this location for the photo.

OMG, no minimalism here, not with those tons of rectangles and rectanglettes so sharply dominant against that light blue firmament. A shot a cubist would die for. Love the skyline above and the doppleganger reflections below, depicted in your amazingly calm Lake Michigan. Top notch clarity, contrast and lighting effects, Mark.

A wonderful reflected skyline, Mark. The flattened effect works perfectly here - it transforms the buildings into abstract forms in a way that a certain type of abstract painter would render them & the result is outstanding...

Your wonderful work neutralises it of the clausterphobic horror that highrise induces in me. Terrific!

OHHH! I shall never tire looking at this part of your city. Especially in YOUR photographs and extra bonus, when you give it your special touch. It makes it all look so fantastic and here it works perfectly. LUV the water reflections. They looks like pure oil. So smooth and delightful. I adore this! FULL SIZE is simply perfect.

A lovely capture and very artistic treatment. I've always found skyline's of large cities so fascinating because the focus is a kind of impersonal impression of shapes and sizes and architecture of the buildings, and I always think of all the people inside, and also of the ones who created the structures.
