Description
In a rain-puddle by the lake...
An odd one, but I liked its strangeness...
I'll be commenting later today.
Take care, and thank you again for your presence in my world,
I appreciate it greatly
Mark
(another big one...sorry, and bear with me...it's just how I'm working these days)

OH yes ! This is close to an abstract. Seen in a whole, it almost looks like that. It got wonderful curves and lovely reflections from the slylines. The blue sky reflection against the beige sand it just amazingly beautiful. Love this shot !!!!!!!!!

Brilliant! I really like this, and those buildings are almost acceptable upside down.......... Superb composition.

A big puddle indeed ! haha... As soon as I enlarged it, I could see in the reflection - the type of brush Nikolay might use to enhance his photography in the buildings ... just a thought ... ;) and then I discovered those footsteps, somebody running barefoot already ? does that mean your Winter is finally over ? or are you moving closer to our world ? - you are on the right track then - where we are 'DOWN UNDER' in the magical land of OZ !!! ... now try to put your head around that one Mark ;)) I know how difficult that must be, with the time warp, the weather and the seasons - oh, what fun ;P ... jokes and frivolities aside - I do like this image very much, it has a lot of appeal especially with those soft colours - very soothing to the eyes - almost ZEN, with a just a touch of green, that must mean Spring is on the way to you ... I rest my case ... enjoy your new found 'season' ;)) BB (thanks for all your kind words, I'll be in touch - some more - soon ... )

Mark, what a truly epic idea for a photo this one was. The reflections in these still waters really stand out and appear very majestic. You have such a marvelous eye for choosing wonderful locations like this one.

I love puddle shots, and this is a masterful use of the medium! I love how the curving walkway anchors the middle, and those vertical posts introduce some unexpected geometry into the scene. Then the puddle curves around again and flirts with more reflection just on the other side to tempt us to come further. Nicely done indeed!

Reflections in a golden eye. Super set of juxtapositions make this image look suggestive of another world, just mere inches below the surface. Quite cool in its entirety, and a great POV employed to capture this effect.

Oh wow, by showing just the bottom and getting that upside down look, it totally changes the effect this foto has. Not your usual cityscape!!

There is a whole world living in that puddle. What an interesting capture of shapes, shadows, and reflections.
