Description
Captured back on 5/16/09, about 1.5 miles from my habitual habitat.
The east wall shown on the left of what was once the GTE building, now divided into several floors of offices occupied by various companies. I have tons/tonnes of shots of this edifice taken in a ton/tonne of POVs.
Arrivederci.

How cool to see it from this angle, mirroring the surroundings so beautifully! Wonderful shot, Harry!

(I don't know how you keep track of all the numbers in your series, it seems like a herculean task!) Really fine reflection shot, with the building wall taking up 2/3 of the shot; and, being such a perfect mirror, it almost looks like more trees and grass. Nice how your pov allows us to see only part of the tree, far right, but all of it, in the windows. And the lineup of mullions---the vertical elements on the building, if I have the name wrong---with those black/white light posts makes for a real progressive drum beat, going down the walkway. And the white sky only emphasizes the reflections all the more. Terrific reflection shot, with an unusual pov, and lots of pointed repetition. (Btw, the land beyond the grounds---on the other side of the street---looks like a big open field. It may not be, in reality; but, in this pic, it looks open. It's just striking, because that's the kind of open area you see in the midwest, way out of the city. It's striking to see it in LA. I'm aware it could be much smaller than it looks in this shot, of course...)

What can I say.. A word beginning with 'M'.. I know there is a epic water shortage there at the moment but have guys there never heard of 'landscaping'? It kind of hides this awful modernness. Rob
