Wow totally breathtaking to say the least ! Everything thing about this shot is a piece of perfection, the colors and details are out of this world.

Fabulous composition! The colours remind me a bit too much of those hand coloured monochrome postcards of the fifties. I hope you don't mind me saying so!

Ok, here's the thing: You're gonna have to go back to France once a week, from now on. Do it on weekends if you want. How expensive could it be? You go there once a week, you photograph every town, every church, every chateau, every valley, and then come home and post them. Every two weeks, if it's easier, ok? (That's the kinda guy I am.) This series has been a revelation. A wonderful journey all the way... This is a real dreamy vision, the background Dordogne and surroundings are a misty dream. I love the full whited-out sky and how it presses down on the landscape. And the pathway in front is so angular and lush. Again, your pov with architecture just understands architecture. You 'get' it, you understand how walls jut into pathways, and pathways lead into mysteries...And those red leaves, with greens and yellows, are the perfect "scarf" for the shot...With a deep shadowed, almost creepy wall beneath. Wonderful work. I love the rooftops here too. Who knew this forbidding looking castle could be so exquisite? (Claude I have to move on before I leave, this morning, I have one more gallery I've neglected too long, but I'll be back for your most recents soon...and it was great to see you in your other gallery again, btw.)
