Description
Another one from Beynac. The walk up to the chateau in Beynac is via a cobblestone path that has wonderful views almost everywhere you look. There are very few signs of modernity & I found it easy to imagine myself transported back several centuries...

Just imagine all those who walked this way and all their conversations. Magical Claude.

AND I can see why ! What a gorgeous site. Outstanding photography of the old stone structures and the little bit of the cobblestone pathway !

wow, now this is so different from your other facade view. The Chateau is so much more inviting, whereas the other view so forbidding. Your pov (and vertical crop) bring out the intimate winding views beautifully. The pathway here (it's an actual walk-way, it could be a roof between buildings) is beautiful, and darkly shadowed. And the front-right wall is a wonderful frame to the shot. Such blue up there, on the towers and roof; and so many other hues in the roof tiles. You really got the hues and textures: The shot is alive! Beautifully captured, Claude.

Ooh, I do love old stones; what a wonderful little passageway, and I would be in heaven walking through something that felt this old. Beautiful view and capture!
