Description

As so often happened back in those days, a rich merchant wooed the pretty young girlfriend of the young officer away from him with promises of wealth and the easy life. When will they ever learn? Wonderful complex scene. Is the duel next? My Great-Grandmother married the rich business man, rather than the young engineer she really loved. By all accounts she and my G-Grandfather were dreadfully unhappy. Although from my persecutive, she surely made the right decision!!!!!
