Description

[Continues an intermittent series of renders loosely based on Stephen Hunt's Jackelian series of novels. Except for a few references, the series is not directly from the novels, but the images might evoke some characters and some events.] Jeremy Gaunt and Tin Rivets the steamman are settling into their cabin. They're invited to breakfast with the commodore, but that's some hours away. “What do you make of our captain, good friend? He seems to talk about his honesty more than an honest man needs to.” “I trust him, Jeremy soft-body. He is a privateer and surely a smuggler, and so in the habit of defending his honesty. I spoke with Damson Raven about him. She says although he is often outside the law, he is fiercely loyal to the Kingdom of Jackals. I understand that, not unlike our own activities, his missions for the Kingdom are often undercover.” “Thank you, Tin Rivets. I trust your steamman transaction engine logic better than my ‘soft-body’ emotional reactions.” The steamman is built from the RDNA Steam armor, the Arcebus Torpedo, and Jonnte's Steampunk Protective Mask and Steampunk Hat. The rifle, which is just visible on the chair by the wall, is Cybertenko's Lewis Rifle. The gentleman is SAV Lynn with the Regency outfit and Jai Hair from DAZ. The cabin and appointments are the Sailor's Quarters. The wine and bread on the table in the foreground are from Exnem's Glass Ensemble and Bread sets. Zoe, asleep at the foot of the bed is forever the Millennium Cat.

They may trust Tin Rivets logic engine, but the real question is 'what do you feed him for breakfast?' Nicely done!
