Very nice! These Iray renders are making me very tempted to upgrade. Have you had any issues with the beta version?

Thank you very much, Zathyn! So far I had no mayor issues. Daz Studio 4.8 Beta is running under MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite - so only CPU rendering is possible for me. Other than that, the only problem was, that the render process freezes sometimes. Till now, I have no idea why it was freezing, but I have seen, that just today, a new Beta version is available - so more and more of the bugs should be fixed. By the way: on my system the Beta 4.8 installs separate - so the older 4.7 version is working as well. In case somebody is fearing, the beta overrides the stable 4.7 version and playing with Daz will not be possible any longer ;) But as said, this is how it works on Mac, provided you are working with windows or linux maybe you should ask somebody who is working with your OS as well.

Thank you for your reply :) I might install it, seeing as I can still run 4.7. I did read somewhere that Iray looks like it freezes at the 98/99% mark, but this is supposed to be normal. Not sure if that is true or not. Anyway, the exceptional renders are worth giving it ago. Thanks again! :)
