Description
There are many statues of lions in Arles - they are a symbol of the city which I believe is related to it's days under Roman rule. These two lions (& a glimpse of a third one) are part of a group of four that guard the base of a large obelisk in the middle of the city. I replaced the bland sky with a sunset (which I took a couple of days later) to add some drama...

impressive and fantastic capture of the sculptures which look fascinating against the sky and could be a scene out of a historical movie! ;o)

Your postwork is excellent; what a lovely scene, and I would love to have those lions myself!

Excellent work - I think the lions sometimes travel to NYC for reading material.

A very powerful capture and I was enjoying the applicable sky and still was impressed when I read that you had adjusted the sky!
