Description

Pilot pen and watercolour, A5 size, early 1989 There's been a framed A3 blow-up of this on an upstairs wall for the last 13 years. I was only 14 then! It was one of the things I liked best from this period - it just worked better than things usually did then. I did several versions, even one at school in traditional pen and ink, but this one was still the best. Nowadays, looking back, I sometimes get the urge to recreate it in a newer style, but have never got round to it so far. Just not sure how I'd do it. I still like the subject, even though it's not technically great :-)

I couldn't do NOW anything like this not even trying for a life :) Why to me it is technically great too? and at that age!!!! I was doing crap at that age (even more than now I mean) and people were saying "oh... how beautiful".. and I believed it for a while.. before I am realizing these days throught what YOU did that I wasn't really doing anything that good. This is something good&great, indeed :) I am still always more impressed :)
