Description

Pilot pen and watercolour, A5 size, 1989 Totally Roger Dean inspired, islands floating in the sky, things like that. I think there's a bit of Tim White in the buildings as well. I remember doing the ink drawing at my grandmother's house in (probably) Autumn '89. Didn't get round to the watercolour wash 'til much later though, maybe even the following year. Thanks to those of you who've enjoyed these few glimpses of my roots so far. That was the whole idea. There'll be more to come. There's no real point in artistic critique as such, as it was so long ago anyway :-)

I am so fascinating by your precox skill i n commanding shapes... You claimyou were inspired by oters (of course, at such young age) but it's exactly the uality of the inspiration you felt bounded to which tells once more about your superior vision at such early times even. I am amazed :)

Why do you call it embryonic??? It already looks very mature. And all your images from this series are a pleasure to look at.
