Description

I love mirrors and have them all over the house, mainly to bring light into every corner. This is the front porch reflected in the pretend Art Deco hall mirror. A beautiful Buhl antique mirror used to hang there but I had to sell almost all the antique stuff to raise enough loot to re-roof. I cannot bring myself to borrow money, if you cant' afford to pay now then don't buy it, that's the way I was brought up! I don't know how folk can sleep if they are in debt! Another Lounge

Amazing examples of how mirrors reflect light to brighten up the nearby surroundings. You did a wonderful job replacing the old cloth frame, the mix of colors are gorgeous. P.S. Annabelle stands in a perfect spot catching passerbys off guard. You are very clever and creative Andrea.

Ahh! the front door I went out of at all hours to have a fag :) But!! Always made sure I closed it quietly. I don't recall if this one was hanging there? I remember a good few mirrors around though, a particularly beautiful oval one near the entrance to the studio comes to mind.

Oh that is beautiful. I should also have many mirrors, if just I had walls enough. That would make my little house look bigger.... atleast inside :D

It looks very clean Andrea , I knew someone who used to say if he kicked the bucket while owing money they wouldn't want to come after him.

"Neither a borrower nor a lender be." Well, at least we know you are not a vampire. I like the multi-colored mirror frame, very Age of Aquarius. So the manikin has a name? Eclectic is not a strong enough word to describe your home. I do love the reflection in the large mirror.

How lovely this looks. Both mirrors are wonderful. It inspires me to think about adding some mirrors in my home. I am in the middle of a wall stucco project right now. When I get finished I think a mirror in the hallway by the front door would add light a a feeling of space to the area. Thanks for sharing.
