Description

Well, that white box in the middle of the top deck is probably bigger, from where I was standing on the other side of the river ( almost a mile away ) I could watch AND hear ' Murder She Wrote '. All that money for a cruise and you get bloody repeats :-) With one week until The Three Queens arrive we were graced with a visit from the Royal Princess. I'll post the full ship in the morning, see if you can spot the Mersey Ferry along side...

GAAK! Another floating shoe box! And over 13 decks high. How many souls will be lost if that thing capsizes? Aren't modern ship designers aware of the rules governing center of gravity in a ship rolling from side to side? I was on a ferry once, between Denmark and Sweden. It was just outside the harbor when it was smacked by 3 broadsides and nearly rolled over, and THAT had a much lower center of gravity than this shoe box. So much for my rant! Great job photographing this behemoth! Good luck with the royalty! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more "broad side". (Now what if there were cannon and missiles behind every square, what a ship-of-the-line that would be!) :-)
