*That man's silence is wonderful to listen to.* O. Goldsmith ------------------------------ I dunno why the chin is that irregular, because the real version is smooth? Pity scanner, really :P This is my Birthday gift for my friend Christian Bolli, from Switzerland :) I adore him like he is my little brother... and I wanted to open celebrate him also here. You don't know him.. but you would love him as much as I do if you did :) This is the first one of a series of 5 dedicated to Eyes. In this case the picture I was inspired by (but as usual, I change detailes to come to my own idea of the face)is one of actress Francesca Neri. I still say that it's not a portrait: I was inspired by her amazing eyes just :), and wanted to develop that feeling. She's more beautiful in real as well ;) -------------------------------------------

the image I was inspired of is an advertising for gold and diamond rings :P that pose was showing the ring.. but when I remade it, I tried to make the finger in a way it could inspire (as you notice) this mysterious sense of sensual request for silence (or some icoming lickin.. ? that's the sensous trick :)), which has to empower the effect of her eyes :) The main lines you see, compose a focusing which goes from the mouth up to the eyes, to hypnothize :) She's really having two wonderful eyes :)

Perhaps one should look longer at an image before commenting on it... My second try:
What is she dreaming of? Her finger seems to speak of a silent secret, her eyes and open mouth seem to know everything about it. I love the eyes, they really live.
