My goodness that a lot of intertwined branches. Marvelous shot! Sort of reminds me of the cherry tree we ended up removing after our destructive surprise October snow storm that mangled half of it.

Really cool shot.

What an impressive mass of twining branches! The pruning pattern is clearly visible in this striking "naked" shot, Harry. And if it was my hair that would be considered a good day...

lol, denise ("if it was my hair that would be considered a good hair day"). If that were MY hair, I'd be thankful I actually HAD hair. In any case, yes, it looks like a bad hair day; either that, or it's a tree that got caught in the middle of a cable fight. (Explanation: I did audio processing, years back, and we had enough electrical cables to make a scene like this. I still have nightmares about those cables...) Fine capture of the mass of a tree, and its many spindly branches. The highlights on the branches make them look electrified. And your crop got the mass of the treetop, with smatterings of rooftops to ground us. Looks like a tough shot to work with, and it's well done, Harry. And I wonder---since this was taken a couple weeks ago---is the lack of leaves from the tree's natural booming cycle (ie, it hasn't bloomed yet, this year), or from the drought...If it weren't for the leaves on the left, this could be a winter image...
