Description
Captured 5/10/15 @ 11:17 am, at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum, adjacent to the beautiful California State University Fullerton campus, in beautiful Fullerton, California.
A plaque termed it an arbor, but it's also a pergola. This is just one of eighteen shots I took of this framed beauty; nice and cool inside, and replete with not only vines and shadows, but also long benches, one of which I sat on to take pictures.
Farvel.

Lovely set of images, I like this one the best. A very nice place for a stroll.

What marvelous shadows inside! And I think that might be wisteria covering it and providing the shade, although it's hard to tell without the telltale flowers. I would be happy to live in that shelter! Beautiful POV and capture, Harry!

(I started, today, from the most recent image I've commented on---your wonderful "lava spill" in front of the dental office---and I'm moving forward now, towards the present---rather than backwards. Just to give you my 'trajectory'...) A restful, beautiful shot of a restful, beautiful space. It looks like you're in the center of the walkway, looking 'out'. The tree outside the pergola makes a perfect centered end to the shot. You caught the shade and intense light equally, and your composition---nearly symmetric---allows this intimate space to open up to us/invite us in. You really caught the contrast between shadow and intense light. A very fine shot, Harry, both intimate and quiet. And somehow, with all this shadow, you caught a light that's almost dissolving in its intensity. Beautiful.
