Description

The lovely little Gray Hairstreak Butterfly, about the size of my thumbnail. There must have been nearly 200 of them on my shrub when it was in full bloom. Such pretty little things. Better detail in zoom. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

What an extraordinary beautiful butterfly, and so small! I've never seen one of those before! A wonderful composition, the background fits them perfectly!
