A bientôt,

Anglais (traduction automatique) Hello, and thank you for coming to visit me!
I live in the south of France, in the Tarn. I have always been passionate about images, especially photography (ah, black and white film ...).
For a few years, I created images with 3D software: Poser of course (Poser4 at the start ...), Cinema4D, Vue. You can see some of these images at the start of my gallery on Renderosity.
Then, with age and fatigue helping, I returned to my first graphic love: photography.
I especially like to show what is not always considered interesting: insects, animals that we meet without seeing them, and if possible to make a portrait of them that we enjoy seeing.
I also really like the architecture, especially religious, that I discover during my rare travels
My partner Danielle is also present on Renderosity, under the pseudo of Leije

Wonderful Scene and Emotion!!!! I try to comment as much as possible and Truely love to see the awesome images that friends post. With work, family and schedule, I know I miss a lot of great posts and try to encourage when I can.

I know exactly how you feel. I liked the works from one artist and made him a favorite. I made many comments on his creations. He never made one on mine. I asked him why. His rule is that he comments only on images that have less than six other comments. He admitted that maybe his rule wasn't so good. He sent me a friend request. I accepted and commented on three more of his great images. Not a one on mine! We are dealing with many different types of people here and in the world itself, Jean. My rule is to immediately respond to a comment by going to that person's album and commenting. Not everyone thinks the way we do! Love your posts. This one is dark and dramatic! Please continue. Thanks for your wonderful comments! Sue

Thanks for your sincere testimony and support, Sue!

I agree totally with your text, Jean-Claude !

i apologized for not commentnig much lately.. I have been fostering a child and helping my wife with her back problems so things have been busy for me..I barely have time to make images or even checking emails......But i will try to comment when I can...it is not because of renderosity or lack of interests, it is because i have some changes happening in my life that just got me busier. This image looks good here, excellent job. Dont feel discouraged about people not commenting...I know how you feel, but I do admire your works..

The whole tit for tat commenting is part of what made me drop out of this scene. I still look in now and again at people art, but I never really did get the whole comment exchange thing here. And I honestly very rarely comment anymore. Your artwork doesn't need validation by hoards of glassy eyed viewers, chowing through there daily segment of pass it on comments, to make it relevant. All those wonderful comments they must really like your artwork. Try a quick experiment, setup a dummy account under a different name and upload an image you have already uploaded quite a while ago that was fairly popular. How many comments do you think it will get? Maybe three of four from those that comment on everything hoping to harvest the reward of the return comment. How many will look at and say I know that artwork its one of Jean_C pieces? If the comments are about Art then shouldn't the number be similar to the original image? So if the comments are not about the art what are they about? Personal affirmations, maybe. Personal connections, possibly. Do you need them to validate your art, Definitely not.

Thank you very much!

Fantastic image, great composition, pose expression and atmosphere !!!

Many of your images have lots of comments - some of us would love to have as many! But it's no good expecting people to pass comments on your work just because you've commented on theirs; if they like your work they'll comment.

English: What I am saying is that the galleries are less popular, many people get tired and if everyone stays in his corner, the galleries will be dead soon ... I do not know if that's that you wish ...

It's a very beautiful scene and mood - despite being somber. I noticed that a lot of artists have wandered off and the mutual commenting doesn't always work very well - there are very contrasting points of view on that and I can see that both sides have a point. Yes, it feels nice to get some acknowledgment and feedback and that's what a forum like this should be for. You'll still be a great artist, however, no matter whether anyone comments or not.
Jean_C
I never thought that I'm a great artist, I express myself a little with art, and Renderosity is for me a place to meet and exchange with other people ... if there is no more relation, why post images on Renderosity ? ...
allnaydi
Well, you are one and that's why it is important to get your art out. Be it on Renderosity or anywhere else. I agree that it requires communication and mutual efforts to make it pleasant, but - as in every other aspect of every community, large or small - you can't make your happiness dependent on what others do, say or think.
Faemike55
You are a great artist and this current piece shows it. the only reason that I couldn't comment for a while was an issue with some servers on the way to Renderosity but I will be getting to the back log soon

Fantastic scene. Well done!!
Radar_rad-dude
I appreciate comments as much as you do, Jean, and I try to do as you do in returning the favor of a comment on art. I think we feel the same way, that it is a form of respect for the artist to acknowledge their artwork by commenting on it. It shows you care. I love all your work in renders and photos! Please keep up the great work you accomplish with your creativity and try not to get too discouraged by the lack of appreciation by some of the viewers/artists. I think we both know in our hearts that we experience joy in the creation process but it never hurts to have that joy validated.

Thank you very much, Bill!

Your image is beautiful but sad and shows the state of your spirit. I think need more of optimism and faith in people.

You expressed your feelings very well and I think many others that comment feel the same and don't understand so many will not return comments. I guess they have their reasons and it makes me truly appreciate those that will take the time to comment. I try to always return comments and comment to my Favorite Artists but because of time restrictions I do what you suggest and will limit my other comments. Please do not be discouraged but use your extra time to explore your artwork and trust that there will always be a group here that truly appreciates your creativity!!! Your image has great atmosphere and feeling!!! - stay strong my friend!!!

Thanks so much for your comment and support!

I agree to your words Jean-Claude. Some just load up and take their credits, but don't give credits to yours. But what is a comment like nice or only beautiful. It is the time of hurrying and no time for another. I did not make something for weeks. months? Why? Can't find a way to do so. Although I had promissed myself to create something today I was not able. Working the garden full of weeds. Falling asleep and go from there to bed again. I am sorry my friend because you make wonderful work and pictures wich I enjoyed very much. Still I look into my friends as you are one of them. Hope to see your artwork much longer from today. It has a heart, like some people also have. Don't worry my friend. You know how people can be...

Forgot about your image where you tell your story as a night. It suits your words told

Thanks for your nice words and support, my friend!

A wonderful image Jean!! Your art is always expressive and very very well done! I agree with your views! The biggest thing I found when I joined Renderosity was that you could view a picture but not have to comment, always thought it would be nice to at least see the uernames of who has viewed them. Like this page, as I write it has been viewed 62 times but only 22 comments, it would be interesting (especially for the artist) to see who the other 40 people were. These are registered members so I do not understand why the programmers have not made a complete visitors list avilable. I really hope you continue posting!

Thanks for your support, Paul!

I joined officially in 2003 but was here often prior to joining. artists that comments comes and goes with no particular direction. some over the years were mad because they did not get many comments while someone else got many. their art may have far superior to others(me), but they did not want to take part by commenting. In English there is a saying "have your cake and eat it too". translated to French is "Avoir votre gâteau et le manger aussi" certaines personnes veulent commentaires mais ne veut pas donner de commentaires some people want comments but does not want to give comments they want it their way only. they are selfish I hope you do not leave as your art is an integral part of the galleries and I value your friendship

Thanks for your friendship and support, Richard!

Beautiful atmosphere in this picture. It is sad that more people won't take a moment to comment on all the wonderful art here.
