Hmmm, is this science fiction, or is this something which will soon be a part of every day life; perhaps time will tell. Imagine a humanoid capable of not just maintaining your house while your at work; doing your dishes, laundry, cleaning your home, and maybe even mowing your lawn and watering/weeding your garden. But imagine if you will, that you are a single person in need of a little companionship, someone to talk with, watch a movie, cuddle with, or perhaps even to snuggle with at night. I read that advances are taking place quite rapidly with such things as artificial intelligence and robotics; and who knows, maybe in a relatively short time we'll have such humanoids. Now imagine, coming home from work, you're tired and yet feeling a bit lonesome. You wish you had someone to talk about your day with, and someone who would be able to understand and relate to your concerns. Maybe even someone who would be willing to massage your back; or maybe even something a little more, like say, nibble on your ear as they whisper seductively to you. Maybe they'll tell you they prepared a nice bubble bath for you to enjoy. Or perhaps just someone to hug you and tell you things will be better tomorrow, come to the table, I've made your favorite meal. It might not be too far off before this exists. What might this sort of humanoid be like; what might yours learn about you and be able to do that makes your life more meaningful and enjoyable? What might you find waiting for you upon your arrival home from a tiring day at work? I'd love to come home and find the umbrella set up on the deck, a fresh cup of coffee waiting, and someone to tend to cleaning up the yard after the dogs. Of course, dishes, laundry, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, and shoveling snow wouldn't be missed either. Thanks for viewing, hope you have a good evening!
