Description
Just 3 odd pics tonight.
Everyone: Ebots have worked poorly of late.
But I've commented in a number of your galleries, and---in my usual fashion---I commented on earlier images.
I hope you all got my ebots! I'll get to the rest of you soon...
As always, thanks so much for looking, and have a fine Sunday,
Mark

There are many feelings in this image starting to the monochromatism and the loneliness !!

I took a very similar photo yesterday! It must be International Urban Grot week. I love the treatment.

Oh my, where angels fear to tread. Stellar POV employed to capture the other side of Chicago, the seamy tenements it appears. What lurks within those shadows, threatening anyone or anything that dares enter its eerie confines. Wait a moment....what was that? Just a tomcat, I hope.

A very gritty urban scene--not an alley I'd venture down!!

This has a hyper-real feeling that I find very appealing; beautifully rusty monochrome and gritty details. I love it!

such places have an international appeal as you may probably spot them all over the world great perspective and tones, Mark!

Just skulking around in your gallery for the first time in a dog's age. Dog's age..., what does that mean? Well in our case, at least 17 years. Has it really been that long since I've been here? At any rate, I'm having fun seeing what you've been up to. I'll be slow commenting for awhile but know I've seen lots and you always inspire me to get out and get going again. For now, most of what I am doing is coming from undeveloped pictures in my files. Hmmmm, that reminds me of film days...but today's developing has a different connotation: developing = photoshopping to me:) And I have a great deal that could stand developing! Your urban stuff (like above) is always inspirational...no end of detail to play with whether it be grimy, gristly, ghostly, ghastly or magnificent, imposing, impressive, awe-inspiring, splendid, resplendent, majestic, even monumental.
