Description

Friday night we had a heavy rain storm with some very close lightning strikes. What you see here is the top half of a pine tree, splintered by the lightning with a section landing on part of a single story home. No one was hurt or injured. To get an idea how big this tree was, look at the trunk of the tree behind the fence. Not sure of using HOME as the Genre. Please zoom. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Glad that no one was hurt. A dramatic demonstration of the power of the elements, one must say. Looking at the photo, one would have imagined some lightning god did a Karate chop here!
