See the link for important information about this man. He is often thought of as the attorney for Rosa Parks, the black woman who refused to give up her bus seat to a white man in Birmingham, Alabama at the very beginning of desegregation in the United States. In legal circles, his name is known. A few of us had the privilege of visiting Fred Gray at his Tuskegee, Alabama "Human and Civil Rights Multicultural Center". He was graciously being interviewed by three young school girls making a documentary for national competition. Following the interview, wee visited a short while.It was during the interview I took this photograph. here
