The bane of our existence, traffic! I used to live by the other end of that street up in LA when I was small. Excellent shot, Harry!

LOL on the hotel guests. Although it looks it, these are not parked cars in the normal sense of the term. The drivers are inside them trying to get to work.

Ah, the joys of commuting! I'm so thankful that my commute is off of the peak times and very short too. Nice catch!

Nightmare, just like London lol But you have to pay to drive into London.. That might thin them out a bit there? Rob

I really like the tilt, here, and the feeling of all that congestion on one side, and none on the other. It's a simple shot, but it's really complex. The tilt allows the buildings to almost "fall into the shot". And the cars are such a thick "guard rail" to the buildings. God, you'd NEVER see just one side of cars like this, in Chicago. A really fine capture of the many moments and quirky sights in city life. And with that long expanse of empty road, and the almost white sky, the activity in the center is really intense. I really like this. What a coagulation of cars! And it's all sandwiched in, between the road and sky. A terrific urban moment... Harry I'm at almost 2 hours (though I was called away several times, so it's actually 90 minutes)...but, with this photo, I've done a long string of uninterrupted images. Next time I'll start with your more recent ones. Wonderful to comment again, always inspiring and eye opening. I wish you a fine and restful Sunday!
