Description

Part three -Thundershield (please zoom for details) From my play about the Danish-Norwegian naval hero and viceadmiral Thundershield and his loyal valent and friend Christian. (See earlier uploads for more) Scene 7. The "Vice-Queen". Homecoming Thundershield gets to know that the king is "put to bed" by "vice queen" Anna Sophie Reventlow, a countess, morganatic married to the King. She blames Thundershield for kidnapped a priest and a young couple on their wedding day in addition to a drunken Swedish office. The last one suddenly appears in the room, trying to embrace the vice-queen. Thundershields comments and his sharp tongue does not promote the warmest feelings between him and the countess. Anna Sophie was by by some believed that she was behind behind Thundershield's death later but this is now refused by most historians. Scene 8. Miss Norrie The Great Nordic War is over and Thundershield is given the permission by the Danish king, to apply for a granted high post in the British Navy. Thundershield has for several years exchanged letters with the rich beautiful nobility, Miss Norrie and he visits her one last time before he is going home to fix his final trip to Britain. Miss Norrie teases Thundershield, calling him "Thunderchild" and show him she knows how to handle a rapier. But they are really two kindred strong spirits who meet and Thundershield is now already well on the way into the highest English classes and a forthcoming great career. They two lovers sing a duet and dance before going to the dinner with the lord and lady of Nottingham. Scene 9. The duel Before Thundershield finally travels to England, he visits the English king, who at the same time is a German prince in Hanover. Thundershield finds out that the German-Swedish officer von Sta«l in the North German area, have fooled money from one of his friends at cards and beats the officer. The strife ending with the other challenging Thundershild to a duel... (Next time the final upload from this "Storyboard" from the play followed by some shots from one of the earliest rehearsals). Have a wonderful week end! :o) Rhanagaz / JohnnyC
