Description
This is the Smith River, one of the MOST beautiful in northern
California. It's undammed, sparkling blue all the time and I love driving along it. I took a fee liberties with this shot, so it wasn't just another river foto.

Love this river, have taken it all the way up into Oregon and the Siskiyou Wilderness. The river wilderness teams with King Fishers and River Otters, truly unforgettable!

yes, your decision to take liberties on this worked beautifully. You got a big "chunky" shot of this bend in the river. It almost looks like snow banks crashing down the rapids. Really fine texture and lights. And the front grasses and rocks are so nicely sculpted, in your postwork. With a heavy dark background to set off the highlights in the river...Beautiful work with water, once more, Marilyn.
