I've returned to commenting (as some of you have seen).
I hope to get to all of you in the next few days.
In the meantime, just a painting I made in Photoshop:
An evocation of the rich feelings of summer...
Thanks so much for your visits!
Have a fine weekend,

Fabulous work I see someone reaching for the skies

This screams summer to me; the fuchsia and red and orange, the flower petal shapes, and the expansive emotion of movement and warmth...such a perfect impression! Stunning work!!!

This beautifully multi blended, colored and unrestrained evocation of summer - which strongly depicts an all encompassing firestorm - speaks volumes about the heat to be expected for our August, September, October, and probably early November, around my neck of the woods, Mark, although a promise of El Nino rains are suggested this coming fall by our weather bureau. I'll believe it when I see, smell, taste and feel it. But I digress. Glad to have you back posting and commenting in your own patented way, my friend. Hope your various problems rapidly dissipate.

OK, Mark, now you're seriously overstimulating my optical nerves - I don't know if it's possible to get any more vibrant or exuberant than this. But you did get a little lazy on the title, don't you think?

Fascinating. Flaming. The sacred heart of art seems to pulsate in the flames almost as tormented in an irrepressible need to express themselves. Seems to move and then immediately burn them to collect large energy, is a living image. Thank you for the attention you give to my works always, it is for me very welcome thing. julian

Three yards, please, preferably on medium weight silk, and in time to make a floor length shift for my lunch outing at the end of the month! I absolutely LOVE it!

Mark, thank you so much for sharing this painting with us this weekend. I love the rich and dynamic colors on display here as well as the summer theme it was based upon. This most certainly is an expressive work of art that literally has a presence all it's own.

This reminds me of a wild abstract garden, alive with vibrant splashes of summer flowers. Can't help but feel the warmth and joy of the season in your colorful art, Mark.

YUP, I am sure this would be a priceless piece of silk fabric :-) And so said Andrea and I agree with her. Wonderful Vivid colors to die for. Can only make one happy to look at. I believe colors are lifting the spirit, raising the mood to higher levels. This will certainly do that. Love it :D
