A very appealing abstract. Though some people associate a dislike of certain foods with their visual appearance, the two really have no connection. I dislike most dark green vegetables (kale, chard, spinach, broccoli), but find them visually appealing. I like cabbage though, especially in a good cole slaw, stuffed with ground beef & tomatoes or made into sauerkraut...

Wonderful capture of the big green leaves and fantastic post work. Cabbage rolls, coleslaw, or just plain boiled cabbage leaves with a touch of vinegar are all yummy !

I sure like the way you did this. Very pretty. I'm not fond of cabbage, either. Unless you stir-fry it with egg, as part of a mo shu dish. :)

The one-eyed hooded one has come for you. Great post work. It does look intimidating. I like mine in my grandmother's cabbage rolls or in stir fry with mushrooms, onion, garlic and carrots and a little brown rice. Throw in an egg and some ground turkey and you've got your veggies and protein for the day.

well your fans have given a number of recipes for cabbage! Cabbage is definitely a veggie-with-an-attitude. An acerbic, slightly sarcastic veggie which, yes, can go well in certain dishes, and great in the hands of a fine Japanese cook. In any case, you turned these leaves into a big emerald jewel, or a closeup of a green bowl, with all the refractions and light-morphs that glass allows. It's terrific---in zoom, it just fills one's eyes! Great work, with lots of caverns and highlights, and colonies, isobars, topographical formations and whatever other scientific words I can come up with. (You know what an isobar is? I place where you get really good iso's.) (Not funny.) This almost looks like you've pressed these forms up against the screen. Terrific postwork, Andrea, a real painting. Cabbages everywhere are shouting, "yesssss!"

Oh I adore cabbage with butter and black pepper on, and I love spinach too, same way.
