Description
I spent a lot of time in the shed today doing making a butcher block table for the kitchen. Every hour or so, I'd leave them alone. I collected some worms for mom and dad and placed them in a tray close to the nest - they went fast.
as my friend says, Nature is red in claw and tooth. There are many orders of magnitude between the raw beauty of it and the ugliness and cold brutality. This chick survives one more day - perhaps I will see her tomorrow also.
