Description

The Holy Cross Cemetery corners on Queen St, South Park St & South St in Halifax, Nova Scoita. It is one of the oldest cemeteries in Halifax and is the burial site for early Irish Catholics. I like it, because I tend to favor bright, saturated images, but this HDR-like postwork style seems to go against the grain of the content. I associate cemeteries with a more faded, subdued look. Maybe you were trying to subvert the stereotype?

Seems like the church is quite a focal point for the junction of the roads and a place to meet...especially on a Sunday ! Neat capture and composition. ~Cheers~
