Description
A city to sustain habitation on Mars, created by the Earth Federation until the entire terraforming of the planet is completed.
More from my once hidden and/or neglected fun and imaginative period of Bryce and Poser work from 2002 through 2006, now on display. This one created back on 6/18/03.
The city is divided into five separate domed sections, each self sustaining, with its own atmosphere, management, utilities, etc., and connected by travel tubes. They are identified as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon.
The specks at the lower right are vehicles.

with Denise, Yves, etc, a fabulous flaming artwork. Until you told us those specks were vehicles, I thought that the domes were much smaller: In your perspective, those are huge domes! But given that they're part of the 5 domed city, it makes perfect sense. This thing is awash in flaming reds and yellows---if this is how Mars looks, I'll be staying home that day! You have a positively flaming sky, or else that's smoke coming FROM a flaming sky. And the ground is almost like the plasmic stuff of the sun. Your greens are wonderful contrast to those reds and oranges. And the layout is dramatic, too, with the domes stretching across the frame, and even out of it. You really created deep saturated hues in these pieces, they just jump off the page. I've been told Houston is hot, but in this shot, it's positively searing. Terrific, fun, imaginative piece, positively aflame...
