Description
Greetings Folks,
I promised you other moment, what about this one!
Here just above the ground obviously flying at just above stalling point is a Boeing 727-200 of U.K. based Oil Spill Response, and yes it does just that! The company has two of them, and they do hire them out for airshow appearances and get more requests than they can cope with..
At last years Summer Show at Duxford this Boeing won display of the show!
It is not a slow aircraft unload!
With it, going as fast as they can, are The Blades display team.. These are Extra EA-300's and as a point of interest are the only company registered as an airline to undertake aerobatics for the passengers delight!
More shots of this as the Boeing opens up and breaks free if you like, let me know.
Enjoy
Rob

Marvellous shot Rob.

MAN, what a contrast in speed! I'm surprised they even dreamed of pitting these planes "against" each other! Thanks for the fantastic photo and the info! Keep up the good work! :-)

WOW! A beautiful 727 and that angle of attack shows she is flying low and slow. Very cool formation.

Fabulous and very cool capture

What a spectacular shot, Rob! The 727 struggling to go slow enough, and the smaller planes struggling to keep up! This is great!
