i don't mean to sound dismissive, but yea, ok, you've done wonders with your staff [truly, it's very nice...] but it's the image as a whole that captivates & engages me... the clandestine feel of it, how it just screams at me and begs questions: where is he going? what scheme is he embroiled in? where is that alley way and how do i find it? is he protecting, or looking to do harm in the end? on & on... this really is a brilliant piece, tho you deem it simply a 'test' - myself? i find it so much more than that label...

Giana brings up a valid point. If this were just a test of the textures, etc. of the staff, I would think that just having it alone would be enough. You chose to include a mysterious wizard whose purpose is yet undefined. In this you did more than test the staff, you've tested us and our imagination thank you
