Description

Captured 6/27/15 @ 8:38 am, somewhere within the normally congenial confines of my condominium complex. These South African 'angry panther' lilies are at their best this time of year. Incidentally, this was not a macro shot. Heavy ground foliage prevented me from getting in close, so this was the best of four rather distant pics I took aiming into the sun, staring desperately into the washed out LCD monitor on my point and shoot Panasonic. I couldn't see a blessed thing of consequence. Fingers crossed time. I did get some appreciable unexpected bokeh as a bonus. The camera gods were with me on this one. Have a nice day.

It's a gorgeous shot, the light is wonderful, and despite your washed-out monitor you got excellent detail and wonderful colour, besides the delicious bokeh; the gods were with you!

OHH I know the feeling about the monitor. Pretty annoying. You just have to Shoot and pray LOL! But you had great luck and a steady hand and you didngreat. It looks so delightful :-)
