Description
Captured 6/23/15 @ 8:06 am, on my way to the local 99+ cent store, three of which we have in town.
The cover is wet from a flower bed sprinkler system, out of sight on the right.
A ZOOM would be of great benefit.
Pozegnanie.

It's a wonderful design on that cover, reminiscent of a hieroglyphic-type symbol. Lovely capture in the morning light!

superb capture, I just love how you treat lowly manhole covers, and twigs on sidewalks, and street arrows, etc, with your camera. The framing is perfect, the light is terrific---almost whiting-out the metal on top, and creating deep shadows on the bottom. You got great flare on the "verizon," and that big "v" above it (it's small, but beautifully highlighted); you caught the rusted browns in the grooves; and the concrete is both sharp and variegated. The big groove in the sidewalk---the deep groove starting on the left-top, and going down the shot---is wonderful counterpoint. And you have a strong bleaching light. I don't mean to do all mechanical things today, but I've wanted to comment on these for a while, as I just loved them. And by capturing the logo on its side, you avoided us concentrating on 'it' and not on the pic. Terrific work; and as I've said many times before, I've done photos of these things a million times, and I can't any of the power and spare beauty you get. This bristles like crystals in the sun.
