Description

Another year! Another celebration of the United States of America's Independence from the British. Wishing you all a very happy day and a wonderful rest of the weekend! All sorts of characters in the render. But to my amazement, PoserPro 2014 had no trouble turning it out. I am very pleased with the results. Only took about 5 minutes to render. Only used Photoshop 7 to add my logo. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Well, ok. I did add the balloons in post work in Photoshop 7. But only after I had posted it without them. I think they add a little pop (pardon my pun) to the scene.

Why soldiers in british uniform are bearing american flag? I misunderstand this render.

You caught my inattention to details here. Thanks for letting me know. I have corrected the image above to reflect a more correct version of the Patriot's uniforms. Now my face is redder than the red on the previous versions coats.

Answer to the above question: At the beginning of the Revolutionary War, there were no standing colonial armies. The defense of the individual colonies relied on a militia; many of whom had been in the army - The British Army. Once the war broke out, they wore what they had, which in many cases were their uniforms - a red coat. The militia sewed a blue label on the jacket to re-identify themselves as colonials. There were two basic patterns; a red jacket with blue lapel, and a blue jacket with red lapel, both being just a slight modification to the British uniform they already had. The pretty blue uniforms you see in the movies are often just that... movie fiction. Those uniforms didn't become common until much later. It would be very similar if a revolution were to occur today. Both sides would be wearing the same uniform, with the rebels making slight modifications to set them apart. Radar got the uniforms more historically correct then he probably intended. Fine scene.
