Description
Captured 7/3/15 @ 8:43 am, growing along side the north wall of a Bank of America building, about 1.25 miles from home. I took tons/tonnes of pics of these.
A ZOOM is highly recommended.
I first thought I would be concise as to this particular variety of fern if I did research, but then discovered after many minutes that it was like finding a needle in a haystack, which is something, at my cranky age, I don't have the patience for. I have bigger fish to fry, as the old saying goes.
Adieu.

WOW! I really love this shot. Perfect clarity and colors and so detailed as a fractal :-) Zoom is a MUST here.

Great detail in zoom, Harry. I love these as I never get to see ferns here. You have nice plants in CA that we don't have here.

Wow! What an amazing spread of frondy beauty, Harry; I love how they fanned out so nicely for you! Wonderful capture.

I'm skipping ahead now (I'm leaving the chronological order), because I want to pay homage to some of your more recent posts too. This is a splendid fern shot, a big ultra detailed collection of fans, with wonderful bleaching light and lots of nuanced shadows, bright yellows and deep greens, and a whole set of flared forms emanating from a central axis. Really find shooting, with an "in the middle of things" pov that puts us right into the center of it all. I loved this when it went up, and I love it now. Terrific work, Harry.
