Description

Captured 7/3/15 @ 8:37 am, in front of our latest 99+ Cent store, of which there are three in the city. There are individual carts from other stores/markets scattered about the area, but none as numerous as these purple beauties. Arrivederci.

A really good way of recognize the carts if someone tries to steal it. In Denmark we have Locks on it . We put a coin in it to unlock it and get it backl when you connect the cart to another cart. I do like this capture and the colors and the perspective.

So pretty and colorful these! To discourage theft or subliminal tactic to encourage shoppers to make more purchases? Nice POV there.

Looks so easy - and create such an effect! You have a good eye, it seems. I didn`t notice it, I´m sure... Thanks for sharing!

We have a lot of shopping carts here, but none of them so pretty! Beautiful, colourful capture

This shopping cart series has been a blast...the greens and purples are so brash, so "dayglo-ish," and you always capture them to make them shout out from wherever they stand; and you also capture the endless geometry of them. This is a terrific case in point. The 2 cart-lines going back, diagonally, make a big chorus line; and the play of shadows in the back, and the glimpses of the mall and parking lot behind, add wonderful accents to the carts. A fine pov w/ wonderful lines. And the swath of ground on the far left is a fine "frame" to the carts, as is the wall on their right. A terrific abstract, made of simple everyday shopping carts---I've yet to tire of this series, even though it's "just shopping carts": You've done a terrific job bringing out their strange, blasting music. And---they're a great deal of fun to view, in your hands! This is yet another subject I'd do badly (I've shot shopping carts many time, but never shared a shot...); but, in your hands, they're a Busby Berkeley film.
