On my way to the barber today I decided to pass by the aviary cages in the city park. I had my camera with me, and the good fortune of having the peacock out in the cage. I took 2 photos. The first wound up with wire mesh in front of the lens (I forgot my glasses at home so I couldn't see what was on the screen). I got luckier with the second photo, seen here. And yes, that's a hen, a room mate for the peacock.
On earlier visits, I've always missed the peacock, hiding indoors where it's not accessible to the public.
