Description

The botanical garden in Lund celebrates 150 years this year, so I decided to visit it. My previous visit was over 25 years ago, and unfortunately not impressive. My guess is the flowers weren't blooming then. My visit this time was a pleasant surprise.
After passing the entrance walk I was greeted with this flower arrangement, stating 150 Years. Beyond is the greenhouse complex.
I'll be posting some more photos from the visit.
Enjoy!

Fabulous and beautiful capture my congrats for them existing so long! it's a good thing I'm not their gardener, they wouldn't last 1 year!!!

Such a bright and beautiful capture. The weather has been quite dreary so I really appreciated this. However, like Mike, it is good that I am not in charge of this. While I am good with feathers and fur, I pretty much kill flowers. I sort of forget them. Guess the furry critters take my time. 😀

Thanks, Bev. It's been mostly cold, windy, a bit rain here. I chose a sunny day for my visit. As Faemike55 and you, I have brown thumbs - all plants I've had die. Sigh. Will post a few more photos from my visit to the Botanical Garden. :-)

A really lovely photo, my friend - and wow! 150 years - that's quite an accomplishment! I'm pretty good with plants, myself..... Unfortunately most of them are weeds.. I was going to ask if those were Rex's footprints in the circle, but those plants would have been pretty squished! :-D Looking forward to more.
