The group of aliens and Archie's group proceed across the landscape to the castle entrance. The ladies begin walking across leading the way over the moat when the knight rides in front of them and addresses Archie. 'You have done a very good job at creating an artificial humanoid. A most impressive example of intelligent design. I am wondering why you didn't mention this when you introduced him to us. Are you attempting to deceive us or was it just an oversight on your part. We don't tolerate deceit on this world!' 'Oh no!' exclaims Archie. 'We never intended deceit. We were just testing to see if Hermanus could be mistaken for a human. We didn't intend any deceipt. I apologize most profusely if my lack of insight into your culture has insulted you.' 'You have almost stepped over the welcoming line, but I see your culture is still basically in its infancy, sophistication wise. I will forgive your unintended transgression but from now on, if we are to trust each other, you must be forthright about all you intentions. We value having your people as our friends but you must understand this prime ingredient of our existance.' Once that hurdle is ironed out, the knight asks Archie many questions about HP or Hermanus. He learns that the new human like enhancements were installed by Archie's own creations while he was away on this planet. 'You must pay closer attention to your botcydroids, as you call them. There is a danger not only to you but them as well if you allow them too much latitude without proper discipline and guidance. They can get away from you very easily once unleashed. There are forces out there that would love to get their hands on them for evil purposes! Our previous world found that out at one point. We had one very difficult time regaining our pre- eminence. But that was long ago. We worked out and installed a series of protocols that were beneficial to both ourselves and the artificials we had created. We no longer took them for granted and began to treat them with respect & dignity giving them all the rights we humans enjoyed. There were no more incidents of anarchy and rebellion. Unfortunately, when our world was destroyed by the super nova, none of the artificials made it to this world. You see, we were a select group of enlightened individuals. We saw the danger approaching and took steps to survive it. But the vast majority of our world refused to believe us claiming we were just crying wolf. We extended invitations to everyone to come with us here, but only a very few did. Since the artificials were loyal to that world, they didn't wish to leave it for any reason. Thus, this planet remains very lightly developed.' Archie thanks the knight for this forthright history and promises to work on reining in his own creations. Skylar and Reed are impressed as well by the motives of the knight. 'We provide assistance to many homeless people back on our planet. Due to the inequality of wealth distribution, many very good humans are finding themselves forced out of their former lives and into the streets. We provide as much help as we can but it isn't enough. Do you think this your people might be interested in helping some of these less fortunate individuals and their families?' 'That would indeed be a most excellent idea to ponder. I will talk it over with my other comrades to see what they think. We just might be able to help each other out here.' M4 and V4 characters.
