Description

Greetings Folks, This is the Bristol Fighter (is that name cool or what!) It is the rarest Supercar in the world.. The Bristol Fighter is a sports car produced by Bristol Cars in small numbers from 2004 until the company suspended manufacturing in 2011. the car uses a V10 engine based on the one used in a Dodge Viper.. It reaches 0-60 in 4 seconds! And has no fins or spoilers its so streamlined.. You also can be NO taller than 6 foot 7 inches to drive it.. In 7 years only 13 cars were made in one garage in Kensington, London.. Bristol cars were only sold through one outlet in Kensington, London.. And you are looking at it is thought, the last British designed car made in the Country.. Price? Not even listed! Off the scale.. lol Other Bristol cars were called Blenheim, Beaufort, Britannia, Brigand and of course the Beaufighter! What else.. R.I.P Bristol.... Enjoy and dream on! Taken at the Rolls Royce meet Burghley this year, Britol Car owners were having their meet there as well.. More if you like, but guessing at name as no badges! Rob

Thanks for this marvelous dedi mate.....what a car, did you get a shot of the rear by any chance ? This is one of my dream cars, the top speed was stated at 205mph although 220mph was no real problem. List price when new was £250,000'ish.....I should imagine at least double that now and maybe add a couple of zeroes for good measure....and worth every penny.

"If you have to ask how much it is, you can't afford it..." :-P A real screamer, this one - a V-10...Sheesh. One hell of a ride! Not for tall people - well, I think Ranpha has her eye on it! Great shot of this amazing car, Rob!

Good heavens, Bristol named its autos after WWII aircraft? Then again, is that the same Bristol that built those aircraft? Otherwise, cracking clarity, color, and lighting effects in this masterful capture, mate. And the grass looks in tip top shape.
