Description
Captured 7/1/15 @ 11:08 am, inside the lobby of a new medical building in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
This unusual ornamental device consists of several mirrored plates rotating within several transparent vertical tubes (maybe twelve in all), which sit atop a mirrored box-like affair, which sits amidst a carpet of stones, which resemble russet potatoes. My shoes are reflected at the top of this shot. Sorry if anyone is confused at this description, but that's just about how I remember it. It was so subtle and hypnotic that I may have misinterpreted something.
Toodles.

What a strange and wonderful find, Harry; can't quite get a handle on why the beautiful mirrored pieces are set atop river stones, but then I'm easily baffled. Excellent capture of these sleek and lovely mirrors.

A moving kaleidoscope? Whatever it is, it's a clever contraption and a fun 'selfie'.

OHH Haha! First I thought it was white beans. Now I see it is stones. It is a fascinating shot with less stones than we see, because of the mirror. Well seen and captured :)
