This is the granddaughter of a very dear friend of mine. I was honored to be asked to do this wedding. It seems that if I have to have a connection to the people I get better pictures. I have almost no connections to my childhood, so I cherish those I have. Her grandfather was one of my grade school principles. I had a wonderful relationship with him and his wife. While I have not seen them since 1967, I have continued that friendship long distance. They have both since passed, but I have stayed in contact with his oldest daughter. Marylynn a few months ago called me to tell me that her daughter was getting married. I was delighted to find that the ceremony was to be just a few miles from where I live. They groom's family is all here and he has a new job here. I was asked to shoot the wedding and I have never been more honored. Marylynn lives around 2800 miles away from me and this was such a wonderful surprise. I think Kaylee is a beautiful bride. This was a fun day.
