Description


Modeled in 3dsmax, rendered in Corona Render for 3dsmax. This is a quick render of a mathematical object I created for a tutorial in 3dsmax, which can be rendered or 3d printed. While it appears complex, it's fairly simple to model with some very basic polygonal modeling tools. Thank you very much. These kind of shapes are quite common in the 3d printing community, but most people think they can only be made with mathematical formulaic input, or through nurbs sculpting techniques. I really wanted to illustrate the possibilities which could be had through polygonal modeling.
