Description

We have been going up to Lincoln, New Hampshire for many years. And we have been staying at the Indian Head Resort for the last few years. The namesake of the resort in a natural formation of granite that looks like the profile of a native American Indian. You decide. Photo taken from the resort maybe a half mile away with my 300mm long lens. It will zoom a little bigger and also clearer. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

This is a great natural profile Dana, but the 'Crazy Horse' sculpture is the one to see. Just mind blowing.

Great capture, Dana! Do you know in all my years in NH, Lincoln is one of those places I haven't really explored? I head the resort is great, but have never been there. Think I need to broaden my horizons a bit, LOL!!

We stay in the building across the street - second floor. Very quiet but stay on the end closest to the resort. The other end is close to Rt 93 and sometimes the traffic sounds can come through the trees!

Yes, I can see it, Dana. I especially love the lush forest growth. Not many pine trees around my neck of the woods. :)

This is really neat and a great advertisement for New Hampshire. And it comes with a pine tree headdress.

Lush nature scene. Love it. I like to imagine he's a dormant Native American giant who (like King Arthur) will reawaken and return when the time comes!
