My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Mono is one of the coolest places around. Perfect shot.

Congrats on 5 years.

Very cool. I get the impression of a group watching something happening off to the left. Five years? And they said it would never last. Actually nobody said that. I remember having lunch with you guys a few days before the happy event. Congrats and may you have many more happy years together.

Five years! Great Scott, where did that go? You are both very lucky people. This is a joy, all those stones folk by the lake, and it's another place that makes me wish I was traveller.

What a gorgeous reflections shot!. And I will say happy anniversary a bit early. It is really wonderful to be married to someone with whom you are compatible and happy. :)

Fantastic shot and reflection Tara.

An amazing shot of an amazing place. This would look great blown up large on a wall. And early congratulations to you & Bill...

Very nice capture. I like the reflections very much.

I had to look twice - I thought it said tofu, and got a good laugh at myself! This IS a very unusual rock formation. Lucky you could get such a nice shot of it! 5 years married. Time flies when you love each other and have fun together. My brother's been married 6 years and just turned 60! A great marriage, too, as I seldom hear from them (no news is GOOD news as the saying goes). And I have my Kitty. The only thing is I don't understand cat sounds. Sigh. Maybe God's got a two legged being for me somewhere. Keep up the good work! :-) And by regards to Bill!

Five years.... My God - it's been that long? Where does the time go?? That's a gorgeous shot, Tara! I have GOT to visit this place...

Good to know there are still some good matches out there! I can't believe it's been that long (and you know what that means for how long it's been since we spent any time together!) This is a classic Mono Lake shot, nowhere else on earth looks like this. Beautiful!!!
CavalierLady
That is a stunning shot!! It looks otherworldly! Many congratulations on your (nearly) 5th anniversary! Very happy for you!

5 years---wow!! I remember all the back and forthing, and one day, it was, "no way can this work", then the next it was, "oh yes it can" !! I'm so happy it has worked and happier yet that it's worked SO well!!! Happy Anniversary!!!! I drove from Yosemite and ended up right at Mono Lake a few years ago. It is truly an otherwordly place. I didn't spend much time there, since it was something like 100 degrees. I did wander around the visitor's center and remember seeing this HUGE block of obsidian that amazed me. Someday I'll go back and really SEE it!!

I'm touched about your writings, dear Tara, and it's because I'm so happy for you both; I've tears in my eyes now, how wonderful life can be, and go it's way, right dear? And then this superb photo's with all the impressing forms and colours. From blue, deep, till purple, warm. This reminds you, what a warm 'girl' you are. Lots of love to you both, happy, happy couple. Or is your happy-box, or heart(s) overloaded now? ;-)
